    Event Log - SQLFTHNDLR

This message is appearing over and over in the event logs.  Exclaimer seems to be functioning but I'm concerned about getting all of the information associated with the e-mail.  Any ideas?

    Event Type: Information
    Event Source: SQLFTHNDLR
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 2001
    Date:  11/20/2007
    Time:  8:47:46 AM
    User:  N/A
    Computer: CAMAIL
    Description:
One or more documents stored in image columns with extension 'png' did not get full-text  indexed because loading the filter failed with error '0x1'.

Note:  These documents will  not be passed to MSSearch for indexing, and therefore this failure will not be reflected  in the end of crawl summary statistics.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

    Re: Event Log - SQLFTHNDLR

I'm logging hundreds of these events on SBS2003 with SQL Server 2000 SP4. Sometimes five or six events per second.

    Anyone got any more information?

I'm currently importing thousands of emails via OMI from old PSTs and the Mail Store.

EDIT: After a little bit of research, this is reasonably normal behaviour for SQL Server Full Text Indexing. You need the associated iFilter for the document type being stored. Adobe have a pdf iFilter for example to enable indexing inside PDF documents.
