I was wondering about something that popped up in my mind:
It is possible with exclaimer to have the signature for someone appear just 1 time in an email nomather how many times the mail is replied.
This is possible with a rule that looks for a certain piece of text in the signature that is always the same...
Suppose there is e-mail communication with a helpdesk. Multiple replies are send back and forth to the person that contacted the helpdesk. Because its a help desk it is possible that different users reply to the e-mail, but because the signature is added the first time and the option to check for a certain piece of text in the body, the signatures that are from other people then the first help desk worker are not included....
would be nice if the signature could be check on AD included fields instead of certain defined text.?
so the check would be: is the email disclaimed by exclaimer, if yes then check if the values of all to be inserted AD fields are present in the email
if yes: dont include, if no: include (suppose that u only check 1 value then it is possible to miss the signature, if all fields are present in the mail but not as signature then there is still contact possible since all the signature data is already present but in different way)
requirement for this to work is that there have to be hidden fields (maybe in the message header?) in the email for it to work (so exclaimer knows if it needs to check the email for the fields or not)
EDIT
i just found this thread: http://forums.exclaimer.com/forums/thread/1698.aspx
stating the same issue i address above, and also states that its only time left to get the solution with the new engine
