Hi,
The issue here is that you are using the pop connector. This item by-passes the SMTP service completely and writes the emails to the message store directly.
Exclaimer is a SMTP sink application, meaning that the application works at the SMTP level. Since the pop connector write to the message store directly it effectively by-passes any of the protection that we offer.
There are 2 solutions open to you
1) Have you emails delivered directly to the Exchange server using the SMTP service(recommended)
2) if not there are pop connectors out there that re-submit the email via SMTP to the Exchange server.
Option 2 will mean that Exclaimer will be able to see the email and scan it. In support we have had people implement this using a program called Popcorn, however this is just an indicator and we do not support the application itself nor can we assist you in setting this up, but I am sure that there support department will help you. Should you decide to take this path, once you have the 3rd party application working I would advise that you contact the Exclaimer's Support department in order to set up the relay servers in Exclaimer or you will see all emails rejected as spam since they all apparently come from the same server.
Regards
Richard
