    Exclaimer and Exchange 2007

Hi we are current users of Exclaimer on Exchange 2003.

We are using 4 servers operating in a cluster on exclaimer 4.22.  These servers operate as our email gateway from Exchange 2003 to the outside world.

With Exclaimer 2007, do we need to put the software direct on the servers running the mailbox role now?   This is important for us to know as we have in excess of 100 mailbox servers that will be upgraded to Exchange 2007 and this would remove our centralized system for disclaimer addition.  Or do we install onto Hub Transport servers that will have the send/receive connectors to the outside world?  We want to have servers dedicated to disclaimer addition where possible and need to know the best strategy for us.

In addition, in testing we cannot use our licence file with the new version, do we need to buy new licences for Exclaimer 2007?

    thanks

     Paul

    Re: Exclaimer and Exchange 2007

    Hi Paul,

Exclaimer Mail Utilities 2007 needs to be installed only on the Hub Transport server(s) for both internal and external disclaimers.

Exclaimer Mail Utilities 2007 is a separate product that you will need to purchase.

    Best Regards

    Re: Exclaimer and Exchange 2007

Is this using Hub Transport rules or are you using another method to stamp the disclaimers on messages.

    Thank You

    Sheri
