How do I preserve the formatting of my RTF disclaimer in Exclaimer Mail Utilities?
RESOLUTION
Use the File.Content method as described in the steps below:
1. In Mail Utilities, in either a Default disclaimer rule or a Custom rule’s Disclaimer tab, click on the Edit/Preview Disclaimer button to open the Disclaimer editor.
2. Click on the Field button on the toolbar and add the AD and/or User Defined fields you want to use in your RTF disclaimer.
3. Select and copy all of the fields, including the brackets.
4. Open WordPad and paste in the fields you copied. Format the document as you would like your RTF version of your disclaimer to appear and save as an RTF file. We recommend that you save this file somewhere logical, like in your ‘Exclaimer’ folder under ‘Userfiles’ (usually C:\Program Files\Exclaimer\Userfiles\) and give it a filename that tells you what it is. For example, ‘disclaimer.rtf’.
Note - If you wish to use Active Directory Extension Attributes, you will need to use the following field format: {Directory.Sender.extensionAttributeX} X is the number of the Extension Attribute you wish to use.
6. Back in the Disclaimer editor, click on the Field button on the toolbar and choose RTF Only.
7. Between the RTF Only tags, add the following: {File.Content(pathandfilename.rtf)} If you saved the RTF document in the Exclaimer program folder and named it ‘disclaimer.rtf’ you would use {File.Content(c:\program files\exclaimer\userfiles\disclaimer.rtf)}
8. Compose the rest of your disclaimer using the HTML Only and Plain Text Only tags as described in the following KB article: http://forums.exclaimer.com/forums/thread/2015.aspx

You can use the file.content feature for HTML and Plain Text messages. A text file can be used for all three formats (but you cannot control the format). You can also include an image file in your RTF document that will display within the disclaimer.
