2 things what the easiest way to import all the emails from the old exchange journaling account and if I import them will they retain the correct dates.

The best way to achieve this is to copy the old journaling messages directly into the Archiver's mailbox. The Archiver will then write them to the database.

However, this will only work correctly if the journaled message have been enveloped journaled. If not, you will need to use the OMI (offline message import) tool.
