We propose to install Archiver for a client and would like check that our configuration would be correct.

1 x Windows 2003 server standard with Exchange 2003 installed
1 x Windows XP Pro SP2 with SQL 2005 Express + Advanced features.

Set up SQL Express on Windows XP PC
Install Archiver software on Exchange server and link to SQL instance on XP PC

Hi

You can install SQL 2005 express with advanced services onto a XP SP2 machine. This does meet the Microsoft system requirements http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/express/sysreqs.mspx and will work with the Mail Archiver.
