We use two rules for all outbound email

 the 1st rule puts a signature block at the end of the email, 

 the 2nd rules puts a disclaimer and banner right after it, unless the banner already exists, if so it skips the 2nd rule

 This worked, until recently, on outbound mail it works, however if the e-mail is a reply it only puts the banner and not the signature block,

 This is very odd as the 1st rule is the signature block, almost like it processing rules backwards when its a reply, and stopping after the baner

Did a bit more digging, both disclaimers use the {Original Email Above Reply Separator} at the top and {Original Email Below Reply Separator} at the bottom,

The 2nd disclaimer appears to overwrite the 1st disclaimer, but only on reply's, regilar outound email works ok '

If I set the 2nd disclaimer to go at the bottom of the email using {original email} at the top it works,

Except we dont want it right at the bottom

You need to ensure that both your signature rule and disclaimer rule has the following fields in the layout like so:

{Original Email Above Reply Separator} 

Signature and or disclaimer text and other fields here

{Reply Separator}{Original Email Below Reply Separator}

The signature rule needs to be at the top of this list of custom rules with the process next applicable disclaimer rule box ticked on the disclaimer tab.  

This should resolve your issue.

Thanks Joshua, I just tried that and it didnt make any difference,

on new emails it works, but on replies the recipient still only gets the banner and not the signature block

one more thing, it seems only to be in HTML emails, on text we get the signature, and the disclaimer text from the 2nd disclaimer,

so it only appears to happen when we put a banner on the email
