Hi, and thanks in advance for any and all help!
We currently have the problem where the assistant sends mail "on behalf of" the manager, and unfortunately the assistant's disclaimer instead of the manager's is being sent... read the article where one is supposed to add the "send as" permission for the assistant in the User Properties of the manager. Have added this, but the mail is still being sent with the assistant's disclaimer ... thought maybe it was conflicting with the "send on behalf of", so we removed this permission in AD. However, the assistant now gets an error when trying to send mails in the manager's name, error is that she no longer has the "send on behalf" permission. Have also tried giving the assistant full control of the mail account (security tab of the manger's user properties where "send as" can be found), but this also didn't allow the assistant to send mail, error still appears until I give permission to "send on behalf of". Am probably forgetting some info, if there are any questions, I can post more details.
We're using Exchange 2003 (latest Service Pack), Windows 2003 SP2, latest version of Mail Utilities.
Thanks again for any and all help,
Locust
