Recently (last couple of weeks) whenever I try to launch the Exclaimer control panel I get the following message
Error - Not installed correctly. Please run the installation program.
When I try to log off the machine in question I am told that mshta.exe is in use and not responding.
If I force quit the process and then log on again sometimes the Exclaimer control panel will load just fine, and sometimes it won't, the same is true after a reboot.
Do I really need to uninstall/re-install or repair the installation in order to make this work. the Control Panel is running on the central email and file server server, so cannot be randomly shut down just for this software.
I am currently using v4.30 but have just applied to have my license upgraded to v4.56. Is that likely to make a difference, other than the simple fact of an uninstall/re-install.
I have only come across this issue because I am trying to add a custom rule, and the rule is simply not being applied at the moment.
