    Archiver Client Permissions

We have installed the Archiver on both our office test server and on the client's SBS2003 server.  On our server, the client permissions seem to work exactly as anticipated - if a user is placed into the Exclaimer Users group, they immediately show up as a user under the Tools - User Permissions box in the Exclaimer client.

On the client's server, the users don't show up in the Exclaimer client at all (it's blank), even though they are members of the Exclaimer Users group in AD.  What are we missing?

     Thanks,

    Re: Archiver Client Permissions

    Hi Ron,

Please could you follow the steps below?

Open SQL, expand Server Objects (Under Security in SQL 2000), expand Linked Servers and right hand click on EXADSI and select properties. Click on the security tab and change the "Be made using this security context:" from domain\ExArc{189bdf72} to the domain administrator account and password. (This can be a different account but must have the same level of permission as the domain administrator.)

Important: You must include the domain. For example, exclaimer\administrator.

    This should resolve your issue.

    Best Regards
