    considering SBS-suite

    Hello,

Your product was recommended by a poster of the Smallbizserver.net forums.

I was looking specifically for an archiver product, but the sbs-suite encompassing all the tools seems to good to pass up.

    some questions though:

    1) are there screenshots available of the main user interfaces?

    2) is pricing for SBS-server not linked to number of mailboxes?
I was first thinking of GFI mailarchiver, but that's is priced way higher  (+-40 mbox)

    3) I understood the pricing to be a one-time cost for the suite and optional yearly renewal support fee
a subnote howerver mentions an annual fee for anti-spam.
Could you please confirm/clarify and give the fee if there's one?

    4) on the sbs is already running:
grisoft avg email server - virus protection
Popfile SpamFilter / Exchange IMF    - spam protection
        Exchange/ISA/SQL Server

can SBS-suite work alongside those or should some be disabled?

    5) in other posts, some issues were indicated with outlook 2007.
at the moment, outlook 2000 is used site-wide, but with the arrival of newer vista pc's and office 2007, outlook 2007 will mostly likely be implemented soon.
can you give an indication of the upgrade fee to the newer version when it arrives?

    best regards
    glenn

    Re: considering SBS-suite

    Hi

You can see screen shots of the search client in the Quick start guide which is available from our website: www.exclaimer.com\documentation

SBS servers are licensed per server, all other OS versions are per user.

The Anti Spam, Anti Virus and Support are all annually renewable services. Please see http://www.exclaimer.com/Pricing.aspx?p=sbs

With regards to other products on the server, I would recommend disabling any other Anti Spam software (Exclaimer's Anti Spam can be configured to work hand in hand with Exchanges IMF)

The decision will be made by the company nearer the time of the release if the new version of the Archiver will be changeable. Mail Utilities point releases are free upgrades if you have a support contract.

    Best Regards
