    this is a (impossible ?) challenge

    Hi all
     
    our Marketing department has decided to embed into the body of any outgoing email an animated graphic banner.
    This has been obtained with Exclaimer and it's currently working as expected.
    Now there is a request from the same Marketing management to implement a software able to strip out the same banner (and only that banner) from any incoming HTML email, which are usually replies to previously sent messages. This is mainly to optimize memory space.
    On Exclaimer this doesn't appear a feasible action. Do you have any suggestion ? Is something that we missed on looking at the product functionalities ? Is there the possibility to outsource a customization ?

    Hi Francesco,

    Exclaimer does not currently have the ability to strip out any section of an incoming or outgoing message. Exclaimer can only scan the body of message to not add a disclaimer at present.
