Auto-responder answers with 2 emails instead of 1

    Auto-responder answers with 2 emails instead of 1

    I have created a Auto-responder rule with Sender is Anyone and Recipient is Email address. The email adress is on a mail-enabled public folder in Exchange. When emails are send to the public folder the sender receives 2 emails instead of just 1. I have no clue why this is. All the other Autoresponder rules just send 1 email. All other Autoresponder rules on public folders reply with one email, as expected.

    Hi

    Please could you let me know how many servers you have with Exclaimer installed?

    Please could you also let me know if the "Auto-response should appear to be from" field is the same as the other auto responding rules?

    Hey Joshua,

     

    Exclaimer is installes on just one server, the smtp-server. We have two clusters and three public folder servers in the backend. All Exchange 2000. And yes, all the "Auto-responder should appear to be from" fields look the same. They are all filled with an email-adres.
